Steph & Aaron get married in Blue Hill, MAINE

Steph & Aaron are such amazing people! Steph is a teacher for children with special needs, while Aaron is a fireman who volunteers for autism charities. Honestly, we are not making this up; they really are this beautiful & generous. We were blown away by their love for each other and for their community.

They chose to get married at Steph's family estate in Blue Hill, Ingleside, where her parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts & cousins were married as well. The house is spectacular & the view is sensational. In fact, Aaron proposed to Steph on the side porch & that is were they saw each other for the first time before the ceremony.

The design concept was a classic Maine coastal wedding. The napkins were tied with raffia and mussel shell found on their family beach. Hydrangeas in white and purple we displayed in galvanized buckets with green and purple votive holders. The linens we chose were white linen with a satin stripe overlay... such a fun, preppy look, so indicative of Maine's charming seaside. Steph's white hydrangea bouquet was wrapped with pieces of her mom's dress. The ladies of the L-factor did her hair and make up, as well as her custom birdcage veil and hairpiece. The great DJ Bob Wilson packed the dance floor at the Blue Hill Country Club, and the guests enjoyed pie for dessert. What a fun evening!
